No Man’s Land Fort In England

This beautiful fort is situated in the strait of Solent separating the “Isle of Wight” and England’s mainland. No Man’s Land Fort had been constructed in the end period of 1800 that is 2.2 kms or 1.3 miles off to the shoreline of “Isle of Wight” and nearly 4 kms from England’s mainland. The main purpose to build this fort was to safeguard Portsmouth which was the most naval and important port of England. The venue had switched hands a number of times but after it was bought in the year 2012 by the “Clarenco” group, it continued to run as bootiq hotel.
